Courses!

So, this is a big deal! I’ve been working on finding a platform to provide deconstruction courses, and I’ve finally settled on one. I love substack, and I’m happy with the publishing and community features here for the most part—nothing will be changing on that front.

But I wanted to do more. I wanted to create a curriculum for people at any stage of the deconstruction process. That’s an awfully big undertaking, and I’m at the very early stages of developing it, but I feel it’s too important to sit on.

I always think about what I would have wanted 15-20 years ago, and the fact of the matter is, I don’t think I would have known it if I saw it. So what I’m really attempting to do is come up with topics, posts, and now courses I think I would have been interested in had they been available to me then—alongside things that are interesting to me now.

The first course is up, just a mini- three-lesson overview about the nature of deconstruction. If you’re curious, you can sample the first two lessons for free through the links you find here or through the courses tab here on the substack.

A quick warning: the two options for purchase are an a-la-carte course option and a beta testing subscription. The beta test includes access to chat, but at the moment chat is available only through an app which is still in development. (I know, it’s ridiculous.) Anyone who does choose the beta test option will be comped as a paid subscriber here, so there’s that.
